In all the years there’s been Black Friday, we’ve partaken of the retail holiday (helliday) exactly once.
Back in 1997.
That was enough.
What we’ve learned since has us reaching for our cozy blankets, cats, and a good YouTube documentary to stream.
First of all,
Many Of Those “Deals” Aren’t Really All That Outstanding.
Retailers have all damn year long to gradually raise their prices, then offer fake Black Friday deals that are actually about the same price you’d have paid a few months earlier.
And it’s been going on for a while now.
Christmas in July may be worth celebrating, if that’s where the real deals are!
That, and not everything is actually a deal – some of the deals are actually very basic laptops positioned as bait for sales of heavily-upmarked… just about everything else.
Yikes. Still Want To Diss The Fam To Camp Out In Front Of Big Box?
Oh, and if you’re going to partake anyway, the best shopping may well, in fact, be online.
Cyber Monday (the third of the three Retail Hellidays) is starting to look a little redundant.
Be back here then, because we’ll have a different kind of message for you – something that will TRULY BOOST YOUR REVENUES.
